Vinyasa yoga offers a variety of poses. Vinyasa yoga has no standard sequence, so a class style, pacing, and intensity may vary. A class may be designed around a peak pose like a backbend or a particular theme such as chakras or yoga philosophy.

Depending on the class type, it may play out dynamically, focusing on postures that strengthen, or it may take the form of a slower flow that emphasises flexibility and mobility in the spine.
